Adeline Fournier A perfectly nice married lady, all things considered. Her husband has been away. She misses him, and the two of them have been trying for a baby.

Laurent Fournier A perfectly nice married man, all things considered. He's been out of town on business and has no idea that his wife has been visited by a demon in his absence. Maybe just a little less heterosexual than he previously assumed.

Annaliese A succubus. Curses her victims to obey whomever they have sex with. She also likes to talk to them and figure out what makes them tick for maximum fun.

Hugo Bastien The 20-year-old foreman of a shirtwaist factory that his father owns. Has a crush on his employee Josephine.

Josephine Duclos A girl who actually works for a living. She's had about enough of her boss and his bullshit.
